Charges have been dropped against the ex-wife of a former Bernalillo County firefighter who was murdered in his garage.
Christine White was charged with conspiracy to commit murder in Don Fluitt’s death last year.
Police say White and her husband planned the murder during a custody battle over their 11-year-old daughter.
Christine White was arrested after her husband, Terry, told his cellmate at the Metropolitan Detention Center that she urged him to kill Fluitt.
The Bernalillo County District Attorney’s office could not say if charges will be re-filed.
Terry White is scheduled to go on trial for murder in June.
