Chama River Brewing Company closes its doors


ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – After 12 years, one of Albuquerque’s first breweries has shut its doors.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, Chama River Brewing Company closed as of Thursday.

The president of the parent company, Santa Fe Dining, confirmed the closure, but did not say why or whether it was permanent.

The company has already closed two of its other Albuquerque locations, the Draft Station taproom, and its 35 degrees North Coffee Shop.
