PORTALES, N.M. (KRQE) – A car accident turned into a shooting in Portales.
The shooting happened at the city park yesterday. Police say a man was shot in the upper shoulder by another man. The shooting victim claims when Osbaldo Navarette saw him, Navarette rammed his vehicle into his, then shot him.
Police say the two men had gotten into an accident with each other about a week earlier.
Police say the two men did know each other prior to both incidents.
