An Albuquerque business owner worries he’s been infected after an alleged car burglar stabbed him with a needle.
“He ran directly at me and punched me in the arm with a loaded needle…dirty loaded needle,” he said.
Police say 32-year-old Shammon Cordova and his girlfriend had broken into a car at a car lot on Wyoming and Copper.
The owner says he’s kicked Cordova off his property before. This time, Cordova attacked him.
Police say the needle tested positive for heroin.
Cordova was arrested and appeared in court Thursday.
He’s being held until a District Court Judge decides whether he can post bond.
