I-40 westbound near Sedillo Hill Rd reopens after semi-truck incident

I-40 west between Sedillo Hill Road/Hwy 306 and Exit 178 has reopened after an incident involving a semi-truck closed the area Wednesday morning.

The incident caused police to divert traffic off of I-40 west at Sedillo Hill and onto the Frontage road.

A semi-truck driver was filling up a tire when it slipped and hit another car.

No major injuries were reported, however, the driver of the semi was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

There is no other information available at this time.
