ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Bob Davie’s 2015 recruiting class is a party of 22 with 9 junior college players. Some of the 9 will have three years eligibility. There are 12 new players on offense and 10 on defense.
One of the new faces on defense is Cibola High senior Blair Manly. Manly will play corner for the Lobos after a good season on both sides of the ball at Cibola. He was also a receiver. Davie singled out receivers in his 2015 class.
“I think we felt like those four receivers, quite honestly, should have been recruited at a higher level, said Davie. “Those are the guys that we’re excited about.”
The Lobos have run the ball since Davie arrived, but now it appears they are ready for a more balanced attack. With quarterback Austin Apodoca signed the Lobos will now have five quarterbacks who can throw the football to their new crop of receivers.
