BioPark offers animal education during Endangered Species Awareness Week


The Albuquerque BioPark is hosting a special event for endangered species.

As part of an effort to teach people about endangered animals and plants, the BioPark is holding a week-long educational event.

For five days, discovery stations will be set up at different animal habitats.

Each day will focus on a different animal including the African painted dog, wattled crane, Komodo dragon, Asian elephants and Malaysian tigers.

The event is from May 14-18, and is included with general admission.
