ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The University of New Mexico has a lot coming up, from building projects to the commencement ceremony.

With construction underway all over The University of New Mexico campus, and more to begin in the not-so-distant future, President Robert G. Frank held his annual Open House to keep UNM’s community partners informed about what’s going on.

Also, over a thousand UNM students took time out of their studies as the spring semester draws to a close to try and improve Albuquerque through volunteering last Saturday as part of the annual event, Spring Storm.

An Expo, organized by the Sustainability Studies Program, will focus on sustainable food and agriculture and will feature a growers market, clothing swap and a bicycle auction. The 8th Annual Sustainability Expo begins Thursday, April 21st, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Cornell Mall.

The Graduate Ceremony is Friday, May 13 at 6 p.m. and the Undergraduate Ceremony is Saturday, May 14 at 9 a.m. Both ceremonies will be held in WisePies Arena aka. The Pit.
