ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County deputies have a warning for you. That person you think you are helping may be trying to victimize you.
Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office sent out an alert Friday warning of robbery traps.
They say they’ve gotten several calls this week about a woman flagging down drivers. Turns out, it was an attempt to lure victims.
Deputies say she was with two men — one had a distinct scar under his right eye.
Not only do deputies want you to avoid these people, they want to hear from you if you spot them.
