A new program in Bernalillo County aims to help the young and homeless get on their feet.
The county launched its “Youth Transitional Services” program Thursday.
It will help youth and young adults get into stable housing, while getting behavioral health support.
Organizers say it will close a critical gap in services for young people struggling in Bernalillo County.
Thursday, the county presented an $800,000 check to the coalition of youth service groups behind the project.
