ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The show will offer exhibitors 12 rings of judging with judges traveling from around the United States, France and Brazil. In addition to many beautiful spotted and marbled Bengals, visitors to the show will be treated to a variety of the other beautiful breeds recognized by The International Cat Association, Inc. (TICA). A cat agility ring will allow owners and their feline friends some fun time away from the serious business of impressing judges, and vendors with all things “cat” will delight cat lovers. New Mexico Animal Friends and Fat K.A.T.Z will be on hand with cats and kittens for adoption. Proceeds from the show go to Albuquerque’s local cat rescue groups.
Friday, March 27, will be devoted to Bengals. There will be a Parade of Bengals, exhibitors voting on various Bengal qualities, and discussion of medical and breeding issues. This section is for Bengal exhibitors only. The show that is open to the public is on Saturday and Sunday.
The On Safari Cat Show will be at the Albuquerque Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 28-29. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for seniors and $2 for children younger than 12. Get a discount admission coupon online.
