BELEN, N.M. (KRQE) – Belen has been hit with another armed robbery — an unusual trend for the small city.

Police say the man walked into the Circle K and pulled a gun on the clerks early Tuesday morning. His face was covered, but police point out his unique gloves. They’re all black except for the index finger which is bright orange.

Just last week two men held up the Taco Bell and threatened the employees at gunpoint. Police did make an arrest in that case — two men from Albuquerque, who they say had stolen a car earlier that day — Anthony Aguirre and Jose Fortuna.

In February, a similar scene happened at a Little Caesars, and and in January, one at the Subway. Investigators believe those two incidents were the work of the same robber. He still has not been caught.
