Learn how beavers clean streams, create wetlands and play a vital role in water management systems during a free event this weekend!

How can we learn from nature to solve today’s issues? Learn about the ecology of beavers and the presenters work in the Jemez Mountains through constructing โ€œbeaver dam analogsโ€ that help restore hydrologic function to impaired streams.

As part of their ongoing education series, Bachechi Open Space center will host a fun workshop featuring the amazing contributions of the adorable beaver to New Mexico’s water habitats.
