ARTESIA, N.M. (KRQE) – The community of Artesia is coming together to support the family of a 7-year-old boy killed in a crash Wednesday.
Seven-year-old Cy Palmer, his 2-year-old sister London, and their grandmother, 47-year-old Janelle Archibeque, were in a car that was broadsided by a truck along Highway 285 just outside of town.
Cy was killed, London and Janelle Archibeque seriously hurt.
Police say Archibeque was turning onto a side road when the crash happened and no one in the car was buckled. They have not said which driver was at fault.
A GoFundMe page has been set up for the family, as well as accounts at Artesia Credit Union and Western Union Bank in Artesia.
