Visitors to Albuquerque’s Open Spaces will see some art among the foliage this summer. The Open Space Visitor Center brought together eight local artists to create a first of its kind art park, spanning several protected areas in the metropolitan area.
Artist Billy Miller’s piece aims to humanize the bosque and remind people it needs protecting.
“Give people a moment to treat the bosque as a person and have a second to think about the human impact on the bosque,” said Miller.
A majority of the art installations can be found at the Open Space Visitor Center off northbound Coors. The project will be on display through October.
