Armed robbery suspect from Albuquerque arrested in Amarillo


AMARILLO, N.M. (KRQE) – A dangerous suspect Albuquerque police had been looking for has been found after crashing a stolen vehicle in Amarillo.

On Tuesday, Amarillo police responded to the crash at a Target. They said a woman had shoplifted and when she was running out, the man she was with drove a Ford F-150 right through the glass doors. They said the man picked her up and they drove away, leading police on a high- speed chase.

Eventually, the couple, April Kephart and Daniel White, was caught and arrested. Police say the truck they were in was stolen from Albuquerque.

The Albuquerque Police Department had been looking for White for several weeks for armed robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.
