ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Police went undercover on Wednesday to arrest drug dealers and criminals hanging out at parks.
Undercover detectives were hanging out at Robinson and Bel-Air parks when they say people started approaching them for drugs.
They were there because of a lot of neighborhood complaints about drug activity and other crime.
Seven people were arrested on new charges. Fifteen were arrested for outstanding a warrant.
Eleven more people were offered services for counseling and addiction instead of being arrested.
