The Albuquerque Police Department have arrested a man accused of killing his neighbor during an argument.
It happened at an apartment complex near Kathryn and San Pedro, Tuesday night.
Officers say 73-year-old Richard Robinson and 58-year-old Chris Mitchens got into an argument when Robinson pulled out a gun and shot Mitchens, killing him.
Robinson has been on the run since, but police finally arrested him late Friday night.
During his first court appearance, Judge Christine Rodriguez announced the state’s intention to keep Robinson locked up until trial.
Robinson is facing an open count of first-degree murder.
He has a history of unlawful carrying, DWI and drug charges stemming back as far as the 80s.
