Police are investigating a shooting in northwest Albuquerque near I-40 Sunday after officers say three victims were shot when they were driving. The incident took place early in the morning at Rio Grande and Rose Avenue.
Authorities say one victim is in critical condition and that officers are uncertain if the incident is the result of a case of road rage or an ongoing dispute. Albuquerque Police say all motives are being investigated.
Due to the severity of the victims’ injuries, a Violent Crimes call out was initiated by police. No one has been arrested in connection to the shooting and police are asking anyone with information about what happened to call Crime Stoppers at 843-STOP.
