Albuquerque woman charged with vehicular homicide

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A woman is charged with vehicular homicide after allegedly driving drunk and hitting someone.

Police say 25-year-old Vi-nhat Nguyen told police she went to dinner and bowling at the Lucky Bowl on 4th Street Wednesday.

She says she drank a few beers and when she was leaving something “hit her vehicle.”

According to the criminal complaint, Nguyen told police she was scared to stop so she drove home.

Police say the victim is brain dead and not likely to recover.
