Albuquerque realtor accused of murder asks judge to remove ankle monitor

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A well-known realtor accused of murder asked a judge Monday to cut him some slack.

Chris Pino is accused of intentionally mowing down a homeless man with his Hummer after he thought the man was breaking into his property.

Pino was let out of jail pending trial with an ankle monitor, but he wants to take it off.

He says he wants to be able to swim for health reasons.

Monday in court, not only did he show up late, but then went on a rant.

Pino asked for his curfew to be adjusted.

Judge Cristina Jaramillo said she was not convinced any changes should be made, denying the motion.
