The countdown to the 2019 National Senior Games in Albuquerque is underway.
The Duke City will host the two-week long event starting in June 2019. The city says it’s expected to bring in around 10,000 visitors, making it a $35 million impact.
Tuesday, the city was presented a plaque recognizing Albuquerque as the host city.
Albuquerque will also host qualifying games starting this July.
