Albuquerque Police: Warrant issued for man accused in city bus stabbing

News

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – There’s a warrant out for the man who was charged with stabbing another man 25 times on a city bus.

Gregory Dozier, 62, failed to show up for court Friday.

The attack happened last month, after Dozier got into an argument with another bus rider.

On Wednesday, Judge Cindy Leos released Dozier, saying video of the attack did not prove Dozier is a threat to the community.

Police disagree, saying Dozier is dangerous.

“He’s back on the streets today which is frustrating not only for myself, but also my detectives who put in all this hard work,” Officer Fred Duran said.

Police are asking anyone who sees him to call 911.
