ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – It’s going to be full of Rad Gadgets and stylish Steampunk fashion that will inspire visitors to explore.
The Albuquerque Museum is hosting it’s Third Thursday, May 21 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
This free event will highlight Rad Gadgets and entertainment by Steampunk Society, a victorian- Sci-Fi group dressed in amazing costumes.
These gadgets are fun off-the-wall vintage and antique tools and equipment that focus on recycling and “up-cycling.”
“Up-cycling,” is the practice of making recycled parts more environmentally responsible and beautiful. This style of art is particular to the Victorian trendy era industrial design and inspiration.
This event will have something for everyone, including art activity, photo booths, lectures with films, and a Steampunk inspired Pop-Up Store.
