UNMH Children’s hospital holds NICU drive

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital is accepting donations for newborn babies in the intensive care unit. You can donate preemie or newborn size onesies and pajamas.

The hospital will also be accepting new or gently used children’s books. UNMH will be collecting donations at several buildings on campus until Thursday, February 13.

Monetary donations can also be made to the NICU Family Emergency Fund, the UNM Children’s Hospital Fund, and the UNM Children’s Miracle Network Fund.

  • Advisement Center -University Advisement and Enrichment Center Ste. 170
  • Global Education Office (GEO)- Mesa Vista Hall, Room 2120

South Campus collection site:

  • Student Support & Services Center -SS&SC Lobby

North Campus collection sites:

  • Colleges of Nursing & Pharmacy-Nursing/Pharmacy Building inside lobby double doors
  • Dept. of Orthopedics – 2nd floor ACC west
  • Dept. of Family & Community Medicine-Multidisciplinary Research Facility 2nd floor, Suite 208
  • School of Medicine- Fitz Hall 1st floor lobby
  • Dept. of Pathology-Fitz Hall 3rd floor & University Hospital Lab 2nd floor
  • Facilities Management – Services Building 1st flor, main office

Off-campus collection sites:

  • Center for Development & Disability -information network library lobby
  • Project ECHO-1650 University Bldg. 5th floor
