Presbyterian phishing scam prompts warning for Medicaid patients

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Medicaid patients who’ve received treatment through a Presbyterian provider may want to take a closer look at their statements.

The Human Services Department says Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and health insurance information may have been compromised after a phishing scam.

Presbyterian is sending out a letter to people who may have been affected and is offering free identity theft protection.
