ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque and the Department of Justice are getting closer to an agreement to bring in outside investigators over police misconduct.
The report pointed fingers at top brass claiming that APD was failing to police itself. It cited multiple instances of officers failing to report use of force, and a lack of training for cadets. If agreed on, outside investigators would look into claims of police misconduct.
