ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico State Fair is holding auditions to sing the national anthem at the PRCA Rodeos during the fair. Singers can audition in person on August 18 or virtually by sending in a link to their video.

The State Fair runs from September 8-18. This year some of the big names coming to the rodeo/concert series are Dwight Yoakam, Martina McBride and Mark Chesnutt.

Tickets go on sale on July 15. Rodeo and concert ticket purchases include admission to the fairgrounds. Brothers Osborne and Sublime with Rome are also coming to the fair this year.

Earlier this week the New Mexico State Fair announced it has a new presenting sponsor. officials reached a three-year agreement with Chevron. The new partnership makes Chevron the sponsor through the end of the 2024 New Mexico State Fair.
