ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller and APD Chief Harold Medina held a news conference at 3 p.m. to discuss Saturday morning’s fatal hot air balloon crash.
Two of the victims were named during the news conference – retired Albuquerque police and APS Sgt. Martin Martinez and his wife, Mary. The remaining victims’ identities will not be released until family members have been contacted. The crash remains under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
