ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Kirtland Air Force Base will be conducting training exercises from Tuesday, Apr. 11, through Monday, Apr. 17. These exercises will cause an increased presence of emergency response vehicles and personnel.
During the exercises, there will also be simulated gunfire and gate closures so the base can demonstrate “force protection capabilities.”
