Joy Junction serves up Christmas cheer

Albuquerque News

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A local homeless shelter is giving hundreds of people a warm Christmas meal Wednesday.

Joy Junction says it handed out more than 300 plates of food to anyone who was hungry. Organizers say their goal is to let people without a home know that they are not forgotten this time of year.

The shelter’s CEO says the annual meal is made possible with help from countless volunteers.
