Cats expected to survive after house fire

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Firefighters saved two cats from a house fire in northwest Albuquerque.

The fire broke out near Unser and Irving Tuesday afternoon. It took crews about 12 minutes to get it under control. Paramedics did find the cats in the home and brought them out safely.

They are expected to survive. No word yet on what caused the fire.
