ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A car took out an ART sign in a costly crash in Old Town overnight.
A car rolled on Central east of Rio Grande taking out the giant sign that spelled out A-R-T, and a tree. Police say at least two people in the car were taken to the hospital.
The city hasn’t said how much it will cost to replace the sign. The city has been dealing with damage and vandalism to ART stations since they were built.
KRQE News 13 asked just how much they’ve spent to this point. A spokesperson said it would take some time to compile that information.
