ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - The BioPark is saying goodbye to one of its longest-tenured residents.
The zoo announced 19-year-old Komodo dragon "Nancy" died Friday.
She showed signs of sickness the last few weeks and was taken to a specialist who found an inoperable mass.
She was euthanized.
Komodo dragons typically live 30 years.
Nancy had been at the BioPark since 2002.
