ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Three people have died after a shooting in northeast Albuquerque. Albuquerque Police Department‘s (APD) Homicide Unit is investigating.
According to APD, officers were called to the area near Washington Street NE and Hilton Avenue NE for a shooting. On scene, officers found multiple people with gunshot wounds. Three of those people died before authorities showed up. A fourth victim was taken to a hospital.
The names and ages of the victims were released on June 6. They are:
- Marcos Perez, 18 [Dead]
- Jordan Johnson, 18 [Dead]
- Nick Ortega, 19 [Dead]
- Female, 17 [Hospitalized]
The name of the 17-year-old female victim that was hospitalized has not been released.
Authorities believe the shooting happened at an 18-year-old girl’s birthday party around 1 a.m. Leads have been discovered, but no one has been taken into custody yet.
