ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Kirtland airman involved in a deadly crash that happened two years ago is headed to trial next week. Investigators say Calvin Cooper was using the median to pass another car when he hit and killed Angelica Baca near Louisiana and Gibson.

Since Cooper is an airman, the Air Force took over the case. His trial by court-martial is scheduled to start Monday, Jan. 25 on charges of involuntary manslaughter, negligent homicide and reckless driving.
