ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A multi-agency task force is investigating what the Albuquerque Police Department is calling an in-custody death, according to an Albuquerque Police spokesperson. Officers in the Northwest Area Command responded to a domestic violence call around 1:15 p.m. Sunday on the 3100 block of Ronda De Lechusas NW.

A man “suffered a medical episode during an arrest, and died at the scene,” according to an APD press release sent late Sunday. No other information has been released at this time.
