ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - Calls to 911 reveal more about what Albuquerque drivers saw around the time an Uber driver shot and killed a passenger.
"I saw the guy pointing the gun at one of the guys in the blue car, but I only saw one guy in the blue car," a caller told the 911 operator.
Last month, 27-year-old James Porter and another man were in an Uber driven by Clayton Benedict when Benedict pulled over on I-25 and Montano. Police say one of the passengers got into an argument with Benedict, and Porter ended up dead.
Many drivers called 911, saying they weren't sure what was happening when it all unfolded.
Benedict still hasn't been charged. The investigation is ongoing.
