ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department said one person was shot near 4th and Montaño Thursday afternoon. Officers were sent to the area just before 4:30 p.m. where a person was found with a gunshot wound. APD said the person was shot inside a building by a man.
APD said the man and a woman then left the building and stole a vehicle. The two later crashed the vehicle and were last seen in the area of the zoo.

The person was taken to the hospital in stable but critical condition. No one else was injured and there is currently no one in custody.
