Albuquerque man accused of smuggling weapons wins guns back

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – After federal agents removed Robert Adams’ guns from his home and business, Adams’ appealed, and the Court of Appeals ruled in his favor.

The court said that the government’s argument did not add up.

Two years ago, federal agents took nearly 1,600 guns from Robert Adams. They say he intentionally removed serial numbers from guns so that they could not be traced.

Adams is in now in the process of getting his guns back.
