Federal authorities say an Albuquerque man robbed a fast food restaurant multiple times until employees fought back.

According to court documents, 24-year-old Lorenzo Desantiago committed two armed robberies this month at the Taco Bell-KFC at Central and Coors.

Officials say he tried a third time, nearly two weeks ago.

Desantiago allegedly fired a shot in the restaurant, walked inside the kitchen, and got into an altercation with two employees.

He lost the gun and took off.

Desantiago was eventually arrested.
