The Albuquerque Isotopes are adopting a new name and brand.
The Isotopes will transform into “Mariachis De Nuevo Mexico” for four games.
It’s part of Minor League Baseball’s initiative “Copa De La Diversion” celebrating Hispanic Heritage and Culture.
The alternate brand will include new uniforms, merchandise and “The Lab” will be transformed into “The Plaza.”
The first Mariachis game will be a Cinco De Mayo celebration.
