Albuquerque High principal warns staff not to protest with students

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – In a letter, Albuquerque High School’s principal warns teachers and staff not to protest with students.

Last week, teachers and students walked out of their classrooms.

Students were worried about larger class sizes and freezes on school activities if lawmakers can’t agree on a budget.

Principal Tim McCorkle’s letter says in part, “if any staff member is found to be organizing or participating in walkouts, he or she will be subject to disciplinary action.”
