Albuquerque firefighters respond to Bosque fire

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque firefighters are monitoring a fire that sparked Sunday in the Bosque.

The Albuquerque Fire Department says the one-acre fire started in the southwest corner near Montano Road and Rio Grande Boulevard, behind the Bosque School.

AFD says crews got to the scene just after 6p.m. Sunday.

Monday morning AFD crews are monitoring the area.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
