Albuquerque companies take part in Mexico trade show

News

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Three Albuquerque companies are in Mexico this week in an effort to go international.

The three are taking part in a food and beverage trade show in Guadalajara, Mexico. One of them — Rio Bravo Brewing Company — hopes to be the first New Mexico microbrewery to export internationally.

Villa Myriam Coffee is introducing its “Nitro” canned coffee and tea products, and Chef Eddie’s Cajun flavor spices is sharing his rare mixture.

The trade mission was organized in part by the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County trade alliance and State of New Mexico Office of International Trade.

The companies say shows like this help them reach potential customers, not only in Mexico, but 36 other countries.
