Airman who died after training at Cannon Air Force base identified


CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – The name of the airman who died after physical training on Cannon Air Force base has been released. Senior Airman Deanna Richards, 26, is the 27th Special Operations Wing airman who collapsed Friday morning.

Base officials say she was taken to medical facilities but was declared dead shortly after.

She was from Ashland, Massachusetts.

Officials are planning a Wednesday morning memorial service at the base chapel.
