Aggressive Christianity group member sentenced to probation

A member of a religious sect has been sentenced to 18 months supervised probation for helping cover up a crime. 

Amos River, also known as Joshua Wentzell, was part of the Aggressive Christianity Missions Training Corp in Fence Lake. 

He admits to hiding children during an investigation by the Cibola County Sheriff’s Office and failing to report the births of more than six children. 

Sect leader Deborah Green has been sentenced to life in prison for raping and abusing children at the compound. 

Co-leader James Green was sentenced to 10 years.
