AFR responds to commercial fire in NE Albuquerque

The cause of a commercial building fire that happened in northeast Albuquerque Tuesday is under investigation.

Around 4:22 a.m. the Albuquerque Fire Rescue was dispatched to Central and Erbbe Street following reports of a structure on fire. When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from a single story abandoned commercial building.

The fire was extinguished within 10 minutes and no civilians or firefighters were injured. No other information has been released at this time about the fire.
