An affordable housing project in Santa Fe is moving forward after receiving more than $10 million. According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, the 65-unit space is being built by New Mexico Inter-Faith Housing as a living and working space of artists and other creative types.
The organization is getting more than $10 million from the New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority after proposing to use a solar system for energy that will offset all the electrical use for the project.
Groundbreaking for the project is set for February 2020.
