4 fires sparked in Albuquerque Bosque are human caused, officials say

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Fire investigators now say four fires that broke out in the Bosque are human-caused. The Albuquerque Fire Department is now searching for the person who started them.

All four fires broke out within hours of each other.

The first started just south of Tingley Beach Tuesday afternoon. Firefighters got that one under control in about an hour. Crews then rushed off to fight three separate fires in an area south of Eighth and Bridge.

In all, just less than two acres burned.

police.
